News Article: Frank Theater presents “Ajax in Iraq”

When the play opened in New York, the New York Times wrote “Ellen McLaughlin’s sophisticated play makes its case in two ways.  It preaches, calmy. And it tells parallel stories: of a tragic Trojan War figure and a brave young soldier in the Iraq war whose tragedy is just as ruinous.”  Now at the Playwrights’ Center on Franklin Avenue, the Star Tribune writes about ” a gut-punching drama”.  It’s a very honest portrayal of some of the things that can happen in war.  For those who don’t know, this play is eye opening.  Performances run through November.  Visit www.franktheatre.org or call 612-724-3760 for tickets.  November 2011
