When the play opened in New York, the New York Times wrote “Ellen McLaughlin’s sophisticated play makes its case in two ways. It preaches, calmy. And it tells parallel stories: of a tragic Trojan War figure and a brave young soldier in the Iraq war whose tragedy is just as ruinous.” Now at the Playwrights’ Center on Franklin Avenue, the Star Tribune writes about ” a gut-punching drama”.
