News Article: Music Classes at MacPhail
It has taken us some time, but we have just formed a wonderful partnership with MacPhail Center for Music. We will be offering two classes: percussion and guitar. While both are open to veterans of all skill levels, the percussion class will be a logical place for the beginner to start. It will be taught by one of MacPhail’s teachers, David Birrow. The guitar class will be a little different. Here we will have two accomplished musicians: Gary Heil, a Vietnam Veteran, and Matthew Griswold, an Iraq Veteran. Both classes will offer some opportunity for creative work as well as one or two collaborative sessions. October 2011
