Veterans in the Arts will be partnering with two local theater groups to provide veterans with unique opportunities to explore and participate in creating professional productions.
The first partnership will be with the Phoenix Theater who will be producing Yasmina Reza’s play “Art”. We are going to have special sessions where veterans can participate with the cast to talk about “What is Art?’ – the million dollar painting in white or the drawing your sister framed that sits on your wall.
The second partnership will be with a collaborative group of theaters to produce a play about the military experience as seen through the eyes of veterans called the “Veteran Play Project”. Both of these opportunities are fully funded so there is no charge to participate. Indulge your wild side. There is an unusual freedom in theater.
